A couple of weeks ago I wrote about and gave you a sneak peek into this great book:
Good to Great Hair
Celebrity Hairstyling Techniques Made Simple
By Robert Vetica
Foreword By Salma Hayek
Introduction By Debra Messing
and that I had been invited to a book launch party where the stars were going to be!
I promised to share the photos and here they are:
This is outside of the beautiful restaurant Beso:
What you are seeing is the back of all the paparazzi, they are absolutely wild!
Here they are going wild! You thought ladies go crazy at a shoe sale, these guys put shoe shoppers to shame!
Here they are after a star has gone, they stand around and check their shots to see if they got a good one. All their heads are down scanning their pictures in anticipation of the great shot. Half the time they are doing the "hold the camera as high as they can and hoping for the best" shooting technique.
Now onto inside and the star of the night:
The fab-u-lous author, Robert Vetica and me. Can you tell I am giddy with excitement or what? I don't think I could smile any bigger or dorkier.
Then me and Debra Messing:
She was so nice!
And don't you just LOVE her fabulous eyelashes?
Here is Robert with Anastacia.
And here she is singing-awesome!
And this is me and Will, the publisher.
Just in case you were wondering, which I am sure you are, I am wearing an Erin Fetherston dress with little bunnies all over it with sick green tights and high heel patent leather mary janes.
To see lots more cool photos of Salma Hayek's great outfit go to GossipGirls.com.
And for a great shot of both Debra and Salma pop on over to People Magazine's web site.
I had to get a shot of me in front of the logo wall, oh so fancy!
This was such a treat-Collier Strong, the L'Oreal Paris makup expert from Project Runway! I nearly giggle myself into pure silliness. I really have to learn to smile a tad less.
To read what Salma and Debra had to say about the Good to Great Hair party pop on over the People.com.
And finally for more inside personal picts from Joal Warady pop on over to his Flickr page.
It's a good thing I'm not a celebrity. My hair regime is basically wash and wear.

You look *adorable*. There's nothing wrong with being excited about being there, and I'm sure there were plenty of other people that could do the blasé thing.
