Thanks for posting this useful idea. I am interested in using transfer dyes on paper to make images to then print onto polyester cloth with heat. This idea has reminded me to think of painting the paper both sides with transfer dyes and then to use origami techniques to make some interesting shapes in the strips. Good stuff!
