yes i love taking pictures of old doors or walls sometime whole buildings and using them in my altered art projects
some of them have beautiful designs and textures on them

Oh yes. Doors, walls, church windows, everything ever created by Antoni Gaudi. Do sewer manhole covers count as architecture? I once made a whole series of art inspired by manhole covers and sunlight.

Not much of interesting architecture around here, but occasionally, some mural of tile motifs do inspire me.

I do scrapbooking, and a lot of my inspiration for backgrounds and such I take from textures. I take pictures of walls, corrugated iron, concrete etc and then use them for letters, backgrounds and so on.
