i am TRYING to sew flowers to embellish my art projects. i am failing miserably...time to get a book! i saw the directions for the straps above, and i thought of another idea. extend the straps quite a bit, finish off the ends and tie them to accommodate the growing child.

I am currently hand-sewing some fabric flower brooches. Just bought a Clover 3-in-1 board for drawing, cutting and ironing. Price is steep but really convenient, and the rotary cutter too!

The dress on the cover of the book is just stunning. And I must say, that blog title is a bit of a tongue twister! Current sewing project is actually a journal - stitching paper to paper to create layered pages.
