First I want to say that I simply "heart" Jennifer Worick. She combines two great qualities (well, not just two...a lot is more like it, but two that are way up on my list): she is super crafty and super funny. I love what she makes and what she writes. I have had the pleasure of working with her in person back when she was a guest on Knitty Gritty and then I had a chance to chat a tiny bit with her a year ago at Maker Faire. Well, now I get to enjoy a whole new book of her wit and craftiness.
This modern painted message block is just one of the cool gift projects from her latest book Simple Gifts: 50 Little Luxuries to Craft,
Sew, Cook & Knit.
