Wow! Summer CHA Craft SuperShow was great! I had so much fun seeing my old friends, meeting new people and seeing lots of new craft tools and supplies! Here is just a little of the fun I had in the Craftside booth. I will post more of my adventures after I sort through the over 700 pictures I took!
Here I am with Jennifer Worick author of Simple Gifts and Judi Ketteler author of Sew Retro in our booth! We all had so much fun doing Make and Takes with all who stopped by our little corner of the Craft Supershow.
Here is Geri Greenman in action during one of her creative painting Make and Takes. (Oh and the "kids"! George, "Jane Doe" and our man...uh cat on the scene - Stan!)
Have you submitted a name suggestion for "Jane Doe" yet? Enter to win a copy of the book Hello My Name is Amineko just by leaving your suggestion at this post.
Come on back to see inside peeks into her upcoming book:
This book is a comprehensive how-to book about all aspects of creative painting. It serves as a reference and technique guide for painting with all types of craft and fine arts paints, including acrylics, oils, tempera, watercolor, and pastels. The organization provides easy access to information with step-by-step directions and 600 full-color photos for clear understanding. Galleries of artwork by a wide range of artists offer the reader examples of what can be done with each of the painting categories and inspiration to pursue the hobby for themselves.
Geri Greenman, a high school art teacher for thirty years, was honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award by her colleagues. She was a finalist for the Delores Kohl (International) Outstanding Service in the Field of Education award, a nominee for the Golden Apple, and listed in the Who's Who among America's Teachers. Geri has been writing for Arts and Activities magazine for 24 years, a contributing editor for 10 years, with 100 articles published.
