Yes, we always make our valentines and have used a variety of mediums. I think they will be fabric postcards this year:)

I have been making valentines with the children I work with - so far out of woven paper, glitter glue, and stickers. I am thinking of making some out of felt also - woven like the paper or possibly stuffed with lavender or other fragrant herbs.

Bread!
One of my valentines is a stamp which says "I love you on it", reversed of course. It gets used every valentines day.
The first time we were in a country house hotel in England, and the staff got the giggles serving the toast for us. They thought it was a bit of fun, too.

My daughter no longer has Valentine parties at school and I can barely get my son to sign pre-made Valentine's, let alone make them. I guess I'll just make one special one for their daddy. :)

I look for any excuse to pull out my paper scraps and make mosaic collages. Scrappy valentines this year for me.

I love to make special cards for friends at Valentines. I guess the medium would be called mixed - a mix of paper, fabric, and embellishments.

My medium of choice is paper, along with rubber stamps. I went with clean and simple Valentine's cards this year: no frills, just a little bling (it is Valentine's Day after all!), no extra layers; just clean, graphic simplicity.

I am stitching printed origami paper scraps or scraps of fabric from quilting to cardstock leaving an open space of a heart in the center... very simple....
