My favorite thing to do with fabric is to layer it with paper scraps, junk mail and leftover scraps. I attach with thinned glue, layer tissue paper over the top. Let it dry and sew over the top with random free flow machine stitches. Then I cut and layer the pieces to create an art quilt.

My favorite fabric project is quilting with hand dyed fabrics!

I love making bags and clutches

My favourite is painting the fabrics with water-soluable crayons and embroidery on it to create a scene.

I love the look and feel of felt. I layer it for wall hangings and wash it for textured pieces, I've even painted on it. It's so user friendly and soft on the eye.

Inchies and fabric journals are my new best fabric projects. Love to see what happens when they're combined.

I love to make felt gnomes and dolls with kids using felt and wool yarn. We also make small bags for holding special treasures. Thanks for giveaway - I love sunprinting and would love to try it on fabric.

My favorite fabric project is still the mini Clifford the Big Red dog I sewed by hand in grade school.

Iv been fascinated lately with eco dyeing, the serendipity of what you achieve is often a lovely surprise! So especially like that this example would work on an eco dyed fabric and add even more depth to it!
Must try that next!

I love doing shibori work with indigo and other dyes. I'm interested in machine embroidery.

At present I'm excited about using old sweaters to make colorful winter coat, inspired by Katwise.
