For a fresh, fun look, nothing says it better than polka dots, especially for Christmas. Each festive holiday project is splashed with polka dots for a contemporary twist to traditional style. For an added touch of pizazz, each quilt features a fanciful finishing edge.
Between the two of them Sue Harvey and Sandy Boobar have over 40 years of quilting experience. Even though this is their first book, they have worked together for years, collaborating on quilt designs, running a fabric shop, and selling fabric kits. Ok - first on my craft list for the new year is to make a soft sided box. I used to make these when i was a kid next to my mom on her sewing machine. I haven't made them for years... I can't wait to see if i remember how to make them. And of course... a fringe edge quilt from the new Polka Dot Christmas book!!!!
thanks...
Merry Christmas!

I found a box full of *crafts* in the garage. Things my mother had collected to do .. years old and mostly felt ... I think I'm going to start working on the box! Looks like a grand book. Merry Merry and a Happy Happy!

What's first up on your crafting list for the new year?
Finishing my Katwise inspired felted coat jacket is first.
Second is to work on my class sketchbook on Design and Embroidery and get all my samples tog ether and afixed in the book.
Thirdly to get my stash of materials, yarns and threads sorted, well boxed and labeled. I need to isolate those which are no longer needed into bags to share with friends and college.
