I have a bit of mixed-media at its most awesomeness today to share with you! This paint and thread combo is from the new book Acrylic Fusion: Experimenting with Alternative Methods for Painting, Collage, and Mixed Media.
All you need to do to create this thread embedded goodness is spread soft gel matte medium onto freezer paper with the plastic coated side up and lay the thread into it while it is still wet.
