« Amy Barickman's Vintage Inspired Modern Style Design Challenge | Main | Craftcation double book giveaway! »

February 14, 2012

I just took my first sewing class last night, so I guess I haven't mastered anything yet. Next class is on Monday!

I would love to get a handle on all those decorative stitches on my machine.

There are so many skills on learn on my list, flat felled seams, decorative stitching-the list goes on and on! Thanks for the chance to enter!

Would like to get my seams flatter.

I'm slowly teaching myself to sew and I'm ready to try a very simple quilt, so I haven't really tried anything "new." Everything is new. Wish me luck!

My next sewing technique to master is altering patterns to adjust sizes and tweak designs myself.

My next technique to learn will be bound buttonholes.

I'm trying to master free motion quilting. Going well so far...

I'm working on princess seams.

Recently purchased a double needle to finish sportswear seams. Hoping it will cur down on double stitching!
