Today I thought I'd share with you some of my favorite graphics from the book Atlas of Graphic Designers.
This first one by Fiktiv combines our standard computer window that asks are we sure we want to shut down our computer with a vintage hangman image.
The top image by Zoveck says, "Spell to Attract". For a word lover that is an awesome quote I will surely use.
And these pages are digital collages that I loved.
More about the Rockport book:
Elena Stanić and Corina Lipavsky
This comprehensive collection illustrates the world of
graphic design country by country, featuring the best
graphic designers from all over the world. An amazing
reference, this book provides insight into how designers
from varied backgrounds approach their work, how
different cultures associate communication and creativity
in different ways, and how we see this reality used, pushed
to its limits, and even completely transformed by design.
No matter where you are from, this book will leave you
with a broadened awareness of your own visual taste and
an in-depth, contextual understanding of graphic design
worldwide.
Maia Francisco studied at the Massana School of
Art and Design and at the Conservatori Superior
del Liceu Music School in Barcelona. She has been
exhibited as a sound artist at the Zeppelin Festival
(Barcelona) and the Fabrickfest ’98 (Switzerland).
She recently completed collaboration with artist
Christina Kubisch in Berlin.
I love this! Can't wait to see this book in person!
