Noriko Kawaguchi is a native of Tokyo, Japan. Her love of clay sculpting and other crafts began when she lived overseas with her husband who was posted abroad for work. While living in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and London she studied a variety of arts and crafts. Currently, she teaches and exhibits internationally. She has authored a number of books about clay sculpting published in Japan.
